Wow! What a trip! The longest trip ever for St Michaels Scouts and Venturers. Montreal West is a nice place!

This is what Matthew said about the trip:
"The trip to Haliburton was amazing! I got to meet a bunch of new people. It was lots of fun! The best part was probably archery and snorkeling in the lake, but for the other days it was La Ronde Six Flags Park! I learned a lot in the camp, how to cook more things, and I learned the spaghetti song. The Scout leaders made the bus ride fun and so did my friends. I came into St. Michael's when I heard that my friends from Cubs were going to St. Michael's."

"This summer we went to Montreal as part of a Canadian Sport Friendship Exchange Program. Last year the Montreal West Scouts came here. Although last year I was not in Scouts, (I was in Cubs) and I did not participate, I could tell that the Montreal Scouts were really friendly and I was glad to have been given the time of a lifetime. We were in in Montreal, Ottawa and Haliburton throughout a period of twelve days. My host family was awesome to me in every possible way and if I could do it again I would just like that. That is why I can't wait until the CJ'07 next year (Canadian Jamboree 2007) because we will be visiting them again! We went jet boating and to La Ronde the amusement park."

The following pages include some trip pictures. Hope this will bring back memories of "defining moments".
